2. Common Issues & Solutions
Before reaching out, check whether your issue is covered below. These are the most frequently reported topics and their recommended solutions.
Account Issues
- Can't log in: Make sure you are using the correct email address or social account linked to your GridexLabs profile. Try resetting your password if you are unsure.
- Forgot password: Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
- Account locked: Accounts may be temporarily locked after multiple failed login attempts or due to suspicious activity. Wait 30 minutes and try again. If the issue persists, contact us at info@gridexlabs.com.
GPS & Location
- Location not updating: Ensure that location permissions are granted to GridexLabs in your device settings. Check that GPS is enabled and set to "High Accuracy" mode.
- GPS accuracy issues: Move to an open area away from tall buildings or dense cover. GPS signals can be obstructed by structures, tunnels, and heavy weather conditions.
- Battery optimization tips: If your device's battery saver mode is active, it may throttle GPS updates. Add GridexLabs to your battery optimization exceptions list to maintain accurate location tracking.
In-App Purchases
- Purchase not received: Restart the app and check your inventory again. If the item still does not appear, verify the transaction in your Google Play or App Store purchase history and contact us with the order ID.
- Refund requests: Refunds are processed through Google Play or the App Store. Visit the Google Play Store, navigate to your order history, and select the transaction to request a refund directly from Google.
- Currency not credited: In-game currency may take a few moments to appear after a purchase. Force-close and reopen the app. If the currency is still missing, email us at info@gridexlabs.com with your transaction receipt.
Gameplay
- Vehicle not moving: Confirm that your GPS signal is active and that location permissions are granted. Try restarting the app or toggling your device's location services off and on.
- Shops not loading: This may be caused by a slow or unstable internet connection. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or move to an area with better connectivity.
- Quest not completing: Ensure you have met all quest requirements. Some quests have specific location, time, or sequence conditions. Review the quest details carefully in the quest log.
- Map tiles not loading: The app uses an offline cache for map data. Clear the app cache in your device settings and relaunch GridexLabs to re-download map tiles. A stable internet connection is required for the initial download.
Social Features
- Can't add friends: Verify that you are entering the correct username or player ID. The other player's privacy settings may also prevent friend requests from unknown users.
- Messages not sending: Check your internet connection. If the issue persists, try logging out and back in. Ensure the recipient has not blocked you.
- Blocking and reporting players: You can block or report a player directly from their profile within the app. Tap on the player's name, select the options menu, and choose "Block" or "Report."
Performance
- App crashing: Make sure your app is updated to the latest version. Clear the app cache and restart your device. If crashes continue, reinstall the app.
- Slow loading: Close other background apps to free up memory. A stable internet connection significantly improves load times.
- High battery usage: GridexLabs uses GPS and real-time data, which can consume battery. Lower your screen brightness, close unused background apps, and consider using a portable charger during extended sessions.
3. How to Report a Bug
If you encounter a bug or unexpected behavior in GridexLabs, we encourage you to report it so our development team can investigate and resolve it. Detailed bug reports help us fix issues faster.
When submitting a bug report, please include the following information:
- Device model (e.g., Samsung Galaxy S24, Google Pixel 8)
- Operating system version (e.g., Android 14, iOS 17.2)
- GridexLabs app version (found in Settings within the app)
- Steps to reproduce the issue, described in as much detail as possible
- Screenshots or screen recordings if possible, to help illustrate the problem

4. Report a Player
GridexLabs is committed to maintaining a safe and fair environment for all players. If you encounter inappropriate behavior, harassment, cheating, or GPS spoofing, please report the offending player immediately.
What You Can Report
- Inappropriate behavior: Offensive language, usernames, or profile content that violates our community standards.
- Harassment: Targeted abuse, threats, bullying, or repeated unwanted contact from another player.
- Cheating: Exploiting glitches, using unauthorized third-party tools, or any actions that give an unfair advantage.
- GPS spoofing: Faking or manipulating location data to gain benefits without physically traveling. This is a serious violation of our Terms of Service.
How to Report
You can report a player directly within the app by visiting their profile and selecting the "Report" option from the menu. Alternatively, you can email us at info@gridexlabs.com with the player's username, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence such as screenshots.
5. Account Deletion Requests
You have the right to request the deletion of your GridexLabs account and all associated personal data at any time. Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone, and all progress, purchases, and data linked to your account will be permanently removed.
